What took the internet so long? Someone has finally run porn through Google’s neural network

We’ve touched the subject of Google’s image-based artificial intelligence algorithm before, when it turned the ever-peaceful Bob Ross into a fucked-up, psychoactive nightmare of epic proportions.

As is the great rule of the internet, whenever something becomes popular enough, some freak will find a way to turn it into porn. In the case of Google’s neural network, it was actually a pretty easy bridge to build. They just had to find the porn and run it through the trip treatment.

What does an artificial intelligence conjure up when you feed it porn? Google’s neural network has never been freakier.

The DeepDream code takes an image and feeds it through Google’s image recognition system, filtering the picture in a mess of psychedelic, shifting shapes brought together by the process.

The feedback loop of the code always seems to produce a huge amount of animals. If anyone can enlighten us to why that is, please be our guest. Possibly because the internet is so dominated by pics of doggos?

If that’s the case, why aren’t we seeing a mess of porn every time someone runs the code?
