Despite the impact of the coronavirus epidemic, 2020 is shaping up to be a huge year for Xbox. With the new Xbox Series X set to go head-to-head with the PS5 later in the year, the announcements from both camps are coming thick and fast.
On twitter, Xbox chief Phil Spencer revealed that the next step in the rollout would be some game announcements. Though he’s yet to put a date on any such announcements, it’s enough to get us excited about the first look at gameplay on the next-gen console.

Along with this news, revealed in a twitter conversation, there has been a lot to get excited about in Xbox land. The specs alone for the Series X are mouthwatering: with support for 12o frames per second at 8K resolution and an AMD Zen 2 CPU, it can go toe-to-toe with powerful PCs.

The games that will be announced are still a matter of speculation, but the impending release of Halo Infinite must be high on the agenda.
