Ye blasts Mark Zuckerberg via Twitter after Instagram restricts his account due to antisemitic posts: “How you gone kick me off?”
Ye (Kanye West) has once again had his Instagram account restricted, following antisemitic statements he posted over the weekend. According to reports, the rapper and entrepreneur began by sharing screenshots of a text conversation between himself and Diddy, in which Ye wrote, “Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this was war.”
Following this post, the company Meta, which owns Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, told NPR that certain pieces of content were removed from Ye’s Instagram page for policy violations, but they didn’t specify which posts in particular.
In light of the restriction, Ye took to Twitter on Saturday (October 8) and shared a heated message, directed at Facebook and Meta founder, Mark Zuckerberg. Attaching an image of himself and the social media mogul seemingly performing at a karaoke event, he wrote, “Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off instagram.”
At this point, for some reason, Elon Musk chimed in. Replying to the post, the Tesla and SpaceX founder made his approval of Ye’s dig at Zuckerberg very clear: “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”
