YouTube channel Majestic Casual has long been the home to great new music for several years attracting millions of views per video. Also, the fact that each of their videos featured still images of gorgeous women wasn’t anything to complain about either. Today the channel has been effectively shut down, with a notice reading it had been terminated due to third-party complaints.
Founded in 2011 and based in Stuttgart, Germany, Majestic Casual was one of the first audio / visual blogs on the video sharing platform with a strong focus on sharing new electronic, hip-hop and indie music.
The removal of the channel is unsurprising considering that all of Majestic Casual’s content is copyrighted material, with many major labels cracking down on their content being uploaded and monetized by YouTube users. You know, basic copyright laws and such.
This morning visitors to the Majestic Casual channel were greeted with a glaring notification that read “Majestic Casual has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user has posted“.
Taking to their Facebook page, Majestic Casual responded to the termination in style.
