“A vision just came to me”: Kanye West has revealed a new idea for a Christian TikTok, aptly named Jesus Tok.
Full-time visionary, Kanye West has revealed that he wants to make a Christian version of the popular video-sharing app, TikTok.
Kanye claims that Jesus Tok would be a way to embrace the technology in a manner which “feels safe for young children and the world.”
Taking to Twitter, Kanye revealed that the idea came to him in a “vision”:
“A vision just came to me…Jesus Tok,” he described, before outlining how he found himself disturbed by the content he saw on TikTok whilst watching it with his daughter, but “completely loved” the technology.
It comes as US President Donald Trump moves to ban the Chinese-owned app unless it can be bought by an American company – with Microsoft recently revealing they are in talks with the TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance. Trump has given TikTok until September 15 to find an American buyer or else it will be banned in the US.
However, it seems that Kanye has now stepped in with an alternative: Jesus Tok. Although it’s unclear whether this is in response to Trump’s looming ban or simply Kanye’s own distaste for the “disturbing” content.

To make things even more complicated, Kanye is also allegedly running in the upcoming US election this November, with the rapper having held a chaotic first rally last month, also revealing that he wants fellow rapper Jay Z to be Vice President.
However, it’s since come out that Kanye may be facing election fraud after hundreds of signatures on his nomination papers were identified as suspicious across numerous states. It’s since been revealed that the nomination papers were signed by the likes of Mickey Mouse, Bernie Sanders, and Seymour Butts – a fact which the rapper’s lawyers apparently have no problem with and are demanding anyone who suspects otherwise prove them wrong.

Whether or not Kanye is serious about Jesus Tok remains to be seen, however, Twitter seems to be already quite taken with the idea.
In the meantime, it seems the rapper has enough on his plate, with Kanye also hosting a renewed Sunday Service over the weekend, revealing his plans to build a new eco-village and children’s ranch, and going on a Twitter rant about lonely emojis.
