The 2022 Emmy Awards are in motion. Here’s a full list of this year’s nominees, as well as the winners announced so far.
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, the 2022 Emmy Awards are finally happening as we speak. This year’s star-studded ceremony is taking place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, and is being hosted by Saturday Night Live comedian, Kenan Thompson.
Among the list of this year’s nominees are cult-followed TV series hits by the likes of Stranger Things, Squid Game and Severance. Leading the pack, however, is HBO’s Succession, with a whopping 25 nominations.
Trailing close behind with 20 nominations respectively are Ted Lasso in the comedy category, and The White Lotus drama series. So far, as announced, the winners we are aware of include fan-favorites such as Euphoria, Better Call Saul, Stranger Things and Squid Game, all within the category of Outsanding Drama Series.
Over in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, we have legends Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game), Adam Scott (Severance), and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul). Under Outstanding Lead Actress, we’ve got the iconic Zendaya (Euphoria), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Laura Linney (Ozark) claiming the prize.
