‘Creed III’ First look at Michael B Jordan’s Directorial Debut

Fans have a first look at the upcoming boxing movie Creed III  starring Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors.

Making his directorial debut in Creed III, Michael B. Jordan is also set to reprise his role as Adonis “Donnie” Creed, the son of Apollo Creed. Two posters have officially been released featuring Jordan in one and Majors in the other.

Based on the characters originally created by Sylvester Stallone for the incredibly successful, now iconic Rocky franchise, the new posters bare little resemblance to the earlier films. As seen below, both actors strike the same boxing pose, with the tagline reading “You can’t run from your past.”

The upcoming film stars Michael B Jordan, Kiwi actress Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Jonathan Majors. This is the first film in the franchise without Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, given his contentious online assault of the Rocky franchise holder Irwin Winkler, it’s not surprising, though he still serves as a producer for his Balboa Productions banner.

Michael B Jordan co-wrote the film, alongside Zach Baylin King Richard, and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, who steered the first movie.

The Creed franchise has proved successful so far, earning almost $400 million combined worldwide.

Creed III will be out in cinemas on November 23, 2022.
