Beyoncé scores nine Grammy Award nominations for 2023, tying with husband Jay-Z for most Grammy nominations in history.
The 65th annual Grammy Awards are on the horizon, and the full list of 2023 nominees was revealed just yesterday (November 15). Leading the pack is Beyoncé, who scored a whopping nine nominations.
Trailing closely behind is Kendrick Lamar with eight nods, followed by Brandi Carlile and Adele with seven respectively. Meanwhile, tying at six nods apiece are Harry Styles, Future, Randy Merrill, Mary J. Blige and DJ Khaled.
Beyoncé’s nine nods for 2023 place her in a tie for most Grammy nominations of all time, alongside her husband, Jay-Z. This year however, the Renaissance artist surpasses Jay-Z, who scored five nominations. According to reports, the pair have each garnered 88 peer-voted nominations throughout their respective careers.
As announced, Beyoncé is in the running for categories including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Music Album, Best R&B Performance and Best Traditional R&B Performance.

In the top three major categories of song, album and record of the year, Beyoncé is competing against the likes of Harry Styles, Adele, Lizzo and Kendrick Lamar.
Voting for nominees will run from December 14 to January 4, and winners will be revealed on February 5, 2023 via live broadcast from the Los Angeles ceremony.
