Fortitude Valley’s Against The Grain Festival is back for its third year this November, and its 2018 lineup is jam-packed with some epic Aussie acts.
This year’s Brisvegas festival will be headlined by Melbourne four-piece City Calm Down, who have had a huge year following the release of their second album.
This year’s Against The Grain festival will take place on Saturday, November 3 and will feature 20 interstate and local artists that will take to three epic main stages.
The ripper lineup also features Tiny Little Houses, Maddy Jane, Good Boy, Totally Mild, Moaning Lisa and many more brilliant Aussie acts.
The event organisers have arranged some great food stalls and cheap drinks to prepare you for the hefty stint of hopping between venues to see your favourite acts.
Against The Grain 2018 has been organised by the team at GRAIN ZINE, and will run across The Foundry, The Brightside and The Valley Drive-in, three separate venues in one epic music-filled day.
“The first year of Against The Grain was literally just an excuse to see our favourite bands in a space that wasn’t a conventional venue.
“We hadn’t thought about how much work and risk goes into organising and executing a festival. In all the shows Grain has booked, we have always carried the ethos of showcasing our favourite bands and this year is no different.”
