The BASSINTHEGRASS 2020 lineup is here, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The Darwin festival, known as the city’s ‘right of passage’, is back for its 18th year and the lineup is absolutely huge, boasting both local favourites and international icons.
Get ready for Darwin’s biggest festival BASSINTHEGRASS, boasting a huge lineup of all our favourite Aussie and international artists.
Some of our fave Aussie acts Thelma Plum, The Jungle Giants and Violent Soho will feature at the festival, and Soho will have their brand new album Everything is A-Ok to debut live on stage.
Thelma Plum, who is now Hottest 100’s highest-ranking Indigenous artist ever (!!), expressed her excitement about featuring at the festival:
“It’s the first time I have played the festival and I haven’t been to Darwin in literally years,” she said.
“It’s also the first time I get to play songs off Better in Blak in the Top End, which is super exciting.”
Electronic legends Peking Duk will also take the stage as well as Aussie faves Missy Higgins, Illy, and The Rubens.

The BASSINTHEGRASS festival will be held at Mindil Beach, Darwin on Saturday May 23.
