Ben Wright Smith is an ambitious singer/songwriter fresh out of Melbourne. Since the release of two 2015 singles No One and Born Yawning, this artist has seen Spotify plays hit the hundreds of thousands as well as a prestigious APRA nomination.
He’s back with a new tune, Sand Grabber, which was the result of collaboration with Holy Holy’s Oscar Dawson on production and lyrical powerhouse Ali Barter on backing vocals. The summery, singalong piece brings in drum machine lines and off-kilter synths straight out of the 70s underneath echoey, soaring vocals. It’s like to be Ben Wright Smith’s catchiest track yet.
Ben Wright Smith’s single Sand Grabber will have you singing along with your hands in the air, and luckily the Melbourne songwriter is about to hit every corner of the country so you can do just that.
