Kevin Malone actor, Brian Baumgartner, is kicking off his podcast An oral history of The Office on July 14th, available to listen to through Spotify.
Prepare yourselves to indulge in the joys of mockumentary sitcom The Office once more. Podcast host Brian Baumgartner is about to give the cult-classic TV show some well-deserved attention. Three episodes of the podcast will be released on July 14th, with a new episode hitting the ground every week afterwards. Baumgartner has definitely made sure that his podcast does the show justice. For the first time in detail, we’re going to hear about the US show’s inception; a meeting between UK star Ricky Gervais and co-creator Ben Silverman in a Starbucks in Soho. We owe you one, Starbucks.
The actor of the loveable enigma-accountant Kevin Malone is also bringing along the celebrated cast for the ride. This includes Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey. Perhaps most notably, Baumgartner is also featuring The Office super-fan Billie Eilish! If you didn’t already know, Eilish has been binging the show for years, and has recently completed her 15th rewatch; not sure if that’s impressive or concerning… but we’re sure she’ll have some exciting observations.
