The team here at Happy Mag are so excited about next weekend’s Newtown Festival that we are all losing sleep. Last year was the best day ever.
We spent the day selling fresh lemonade, watching live music and eating delicious food, and we made a promise that we’d be back again this year to do it all again (…minus the lemonade).
If you’re heading down to Newtown Festival this year, be sure to come and say a big ol’ hello to the team at Happy Mag. We’re selling goodies to help fundraise our upcoming Issue 10!
Next Sunday, we’ll be signing autographs (and selling goodie bags) to raise funds for our upcoming tenth issue, and will be having a load fun while we’re at it. This is the biggest Newtown Festival to date; the team is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the biggest event the Inner West sees all year. There’ll be plenty of food stalls, heaps of live music and four-legged friends left, right and centre.
With only a week to go until this year’s Newtown Festival, the Happy Mag office has turned into a sweatshop, with all staff in a production line helping to curate goodie bags full of Happy-themed paraphernalia. For a mere $20, every lucky customer at Happy’s Newtown Festival stall will score themselves over $100 worth of goodies, including:

+ your name in Happy Mag Issue 10!
That’s right! Every supporter will get their name mentioned in Happy Mag’s tenth issue as part of the fundraiser. That’s something you can add to your resume.
Happy Mag are perched up right next to our friends at FBi, so you can get your whole Sydney music fix in the one spot. We’re also conveniently located near the eco-village AND the morning dog show, so there’s no excuse not to visit!
