Marvel released the official teaser trailer for the upcoming Marvel film Eternals directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao.
Eternals is the third film in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Currently, the teaser remains #1 on Youtube trending and has amassed 8 million views and counting.
The movie follows the Eternals, an immortal race with superhuman powers who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years as they reunite to battle the evil Deviants.
Eternals is the latest film from academy-award winning director, Chloe Zhao, who made waves this year as the first non-white woman to win Best Picture for Nomadland.
While the trailer doesn’t give away anything about the plot, it gave fans a look at the costumes, sweeping location shots and references to other MCU characters.

Eternals has generated positive buzz for many reasons. Its star-studded cast includes Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Kit Harrington, to name a few.
The film has been praised for its racially diverse casting. It will also feature Marvel’s first deaf superhero Makkari played by Lauren Ridloff, and one of Marvel’s first gay superheroes, Phastos, played by Haaz Sleiman.
