DMA’S have dropped their new track Too Soon, which follows the success of their recently released first single Lay Down.
The tune was premiered on tripe J this morning, and was written as a collaboration by all three group members, which is not often the case with the Sydney trio. It was recorded between band member Johnny Took’s bedroom in Newtown and a studio in Coogee, before being mixed in LA with Spike Stent.
On the track’s production, Took explained “Usually one of us will have an idea for a song, and we’ll flesh it out together, but for Too Soon we each had a separate melody, which fit together effortlessly.”
Too Soon will feature on DMA’s upcoming debut album, Hills End, which is set to drop on February 27.
