Don’t miss out on this huge lineup for King Street Crawl at the Bank

The Bank Hotel in Newtown never fail to put on an epic show, so it’s no surprise that they’ve pulled out all the stops for King Street Crawl this year, turning the keys over to some amazing curators, musicians and DJ’s for a massive day of live music.

The Bank is a stone’s throw from Newtown station and the music is starting early and going late, there’s also an absolutely huge line-up at three stages throughout the venue. It’d be rude not to drop by at least once along your crawl this Sunday.

The Bank Hotel is pulling out all stops this Sunday for King Street Crawl, with an absolutely huge line-up of some of the best local live acts NSW has to offer.

Aussie independent record label I OH YOU are teaming up with King Street Crawl to take over Waywards for the day, with a killer line-up of live acts that’ll have upstairs pumping, doors will open at 1 pm and they’ll stay open all day long. There will be an eclectic mix of some of the best local live acts the state has to offer.

Headlining the Waywards stage will be Sydney garage-rock heroes Straight Arrows, it’s sure to get pretty rowdy, and their music is sure to slap you right in the face in the best of ways.  Joining them will be Newcastle singer-songwriter extraordinaire Brightness, Sydney dream-pop masters NOIRE, Sydney beach banger enthusiasts Sunscreen, and industrial techno powerhouse REBEL YELL. There will also be sets from The Lazy Eyes, Ultracrush, Good Pash, and an ever so elusive secret headliner, and if that doesn’t draw you in I’m not sure what would.

Sydney pop songstress Lola Scott will be headlining the Bank’s Front Bar Stage, with supporting performances from fellow singer-songwriter Eleanor Jacks, feminist punk act Chemical Restraint, as well as electro glitch pop sensation Muki. There will also be DJ sets from Anomie and Low Flung.

Sydney independent label Planet Trip Records are putting on an electronic extravaganza at the Uncle Hops stage, and it’s going to be groovy as hell. DAME and Deepa will be playing a back to back set of house grooves, while Maia Bilyk delivers disco dancefloor delights. If what you need is straight soul classics, Mike Who and Christian Kalcic‘s B2B set will answer your prayers. To top it all off, Daniel Lupica will be going B2B with Paul Jextra, spinning some seriously rare disco gems.

All in all, it’s going to be an epic day. With such a diverse range of tunes, there’ll be something for everyone, no matter what tickles your fancy. If you want to find out more, check out the facebook event, and see the full line-up below.
