Canadian rapper Drake sent his fans into a frenzy after posting a photo of a civilian woman to his Instagram story because “she’s a dime”.
Surely there’s been a point where Drake’s publicist said his reputation surrounding his attitude toward women could use some improvement. Did he really think publicly ogling a random woman would help that?
Drake took the photo of the mystery woman at Gigi Restaurant in St Tropez and captioned it: “Tried to airdrop this woman a pic of herself cause she’s a dime.”
The woman who caught Drake’s eye turned out to be an Aussie maths teacher by the name of Dearne Cooper.
Dearne was on holiday in the coastal town with her electrician partner Nathan Wynn and their newborn son Henri.
Dearne is actually not too unfamiliar with fame as the new mum used to work as a public relations assistant and was previously linked with NRL star Jarryd Hayne in 2006.
We’re not too sure what Drake’s motivation to be so publicly thirsty was. Although as an enormously famous millionaire maybe he thought this would get her attention in the long run.
Maybe it was just an elaborate way for the rapper to prove he’s into adult women…
An insider told Saturday Confidential that “stunning girls” were surrounding Drake at the restaurant but that he was totally unaware of the attention as his gaze was fixed upon Dearne.

Soon after the annoyingly modern ‘move’, Drake continued to post snaps of his holiday which he is allegedly enjoying with 20-year-old YouTube star Suede Brooks.
The pair were seen hopping aboard a boat together last week and though the nature of their relationship is unknown, a source told ET they are “having fun together”.
