Four Tet posted a photo of his sparse studio setup last week and inspired an onslaught of hilarious Twitter meme replies.
Featuring a laptop, MIDI controller, interface and some monitors, it’s probably not what you’d expect from an illustrious producer like Four Tet.
“This is where I recorded and mixed the record and all the gear that I used,” the Tweet said in reference his new record, New Energy. It just goes to show how much can be done in the box these days.
It didn’t take long for the photo to go viral on Twitter, with fans replying by ribbing Four Tet with snaps of their own ‘studios’. It was pretty hilarious. See below.
