Grimes and Lil Uzi Vert plan to get matching brain chips by 2022

Nothing says couple goals more than you and a pal getting matching “brain chips,” manufactured by said partner’s company. That’s exactly what singer Grimes and rapper Lil Uzi Vert plan on doing.

Lil Uzi Vert confirmed that the two musicians are collaborating on Grimes‘ new album, in a tweet that said, “Me and Grimes making hits. respect my sister.”

And now, it looks as if the duo have bigger and stranger aligned goals, courtesy of Elon Musk’s company Neuralink.

Elon Musk explained to The Hill that his start-up firm are developing a computer interface that can be implanted into the human brain to “provide long-term treatment for neurological conditions such as dementia.”

Neuralink’s nanotechnology has apparently already been used on a monkey’s brain which the mogul told the press, “allowed the animal to play video games using only its mind.”

Grimes followed up with a second tweet saying, “Let’s aim for chips by 2022. it’s experimental surgery but if it succeeds we’ll have the knowledge of the Gods haha.”

Considering Lil Uzi’s recent track record with implanting unusual objects such as pink diamonds onto his person, this kind of checks out.

Some get hot chips with their friends, others get brain chips.
