Grow Your Own announce a tasty Growers lineup for all your foodie needs

Grow Your Own have just announced their showcase of growers for next year’s inaugural festival, and we are already drooling at the sight of all the yummy food that will be on offer.

In keeping with the theme of sustainability, Grow Your Own are hosting a variety of ethical farmers and growers, so there’ll be loads of wholesome food to choose from.

Feast on goodies from Dr Drool’s food stall, eat a bucket of soft serve from Summer Cup Co. and go home with a bottle of boutique wine from Old Road Inn – there’ll be plenty of mouthwatering food and drinks to indulge in at Grow Your Own 2019.

Come on down to the festival’s Grower’s Area to choose from the finest produce sourced from local farmers, or head to Palms Micro Bakery to try out their cheese and bread tasting plates.

Dr Drool’s food stall will be serving up some mouthwatering delicacies, or head to the Growers Bar to quench your thirst with some of Bottle Culture’s locally sourced and made kombucha or Old Road Inn’s speciality wines.

And for all those sweet tooths out there, Summer Cup Co. will be dishing out their plant-based soft serves.

There’ll also be plenty of workshops to choose from, where you can learn how to start your own garden with Chelsea Hands, or fall in love with insects as Amber Drop talks about pollinators and the importance of bees.

Lydia Irving from Internal Instinct will show you how to make your own sourdough, while Rachel Altenbacher will tell you how she lived entirely off of her own homegrown food for a month.

Meet the folks behind Yeo Farm who help bring humanely raised sheep to market, or have a chat with the mind behind Long Table Farm about ethical, regenerative methods of raising cows, pigs and lambs.

If you need a bit of a lie-down from gorging on all that food, head to the Growers cinema, where you can watch the stories behind the growers, learn all about sustainability or soak yourself up in surf culture with the festival’s extensive collection of surf films.

Indulge in all this and watch a massive lineup of Aussie talent like DMA’s, Jack River, Mallrat, The Preatures and tonnes more at Grow Your Own 2019.
