The one and only Prince has announced he will be heading down under for a tour sometime this month.
He has recently been playing a run of intimate shows at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota, with just a piano and microphone. A statement about the event revealed “The repertoire list will be culled from Prince’s vast 39-album catalogue and each performance will have a unique set-list that evolves in real time song-to-song. Fans should expect to witness special interpretations of well-known hits, alongside rarely performed B-sides and new never-before-heard material.”
Prince is now set to bring his “Piano and Microphone” to Australia during February, although no other information has been released yet.
The last time he was in the country was in 2012, where he hit up Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne for a few headline shows.
