My childhood was defined by watching episode after episode of The Simpsons, including the classic couch gags (from the celebratory ‘chorus line’, to ‘ a game of couches’).
IKEA UAE has now done every Simpsons, Friends and Stranger Things fan a huge favour by recreating the iconic living room spaces which characters like Homer Simpson, Chandler Bing, and Steve Harrington have dwelled in.
“The Ikea team worked closely with the creatives for months. They went through hundreds of items to find the perfect pieces that would bring those iconic rooms,” said Vinod Jayan, managing director for IKEA in the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Oman region in an interview with Adweek.
Jayan continued, “it was a great collaborative effort that led up to a stunning result. A true testament of what IKEA represents: a place where everyone can bring whatever idea they see or have to life.”

One thing is for certain, meatballs and Swedish soft drinks are not the only things to look forward to when visiting IKEA in the UAE… that is if you make the journey.
