Introducing the scuzzy surf-punk of Los Angeles outfit KEEN

Introducing KEEN, a twin brother and sister fronted band from Los Angeles, California. Describing themselves as “full-throttle wipeout rock n’ roll,” the band live up to this description with their two latest releases, Bitchin’ and Winning.

With their scuzzy instrumentation and gritty, charmingly obnoxious vocal hooks, the LA band belt out a brand of music that’ll both smack you in the head and make you want to dance. So before they descend upon Aussie shores this week, familiarise yourself with their brilliantly filthy sounds.

Before they invade Aussie shores later this week, familiarise yourself with the scuzzy surf-punk sounds of Los Angeles outfit KEEN.

Bitchin is a high energy track with a punk sensibility. Complete with rich harmonies and chugging guitars, the track packs a true punch. Winning, much like its sister track Bitchin’, thrives in self-deprecating lyricism and raucous instrumentation.

Having recently embarked on a two-week tour to Austin’s SXSW and performed on the Burger Records Showcase, Levitation Showcase and Xemu Records Showcase with Dead Meadow, KEEN are now ready to bring their chaotic sounds down under.

If you want to catch the band live, you can do so at any of the dates listed below… and we can all but guarantee you’re in for a wild time.
