It would appear that Mac Demarco is the new poster boy for Fender.

A little while back, we posted a piece that featured a bunch of photos of Mac’s house, including a room that was full of white Fender Stratocasters. Now Fender have posted a video of Mac demo’ing the new American Professional Strat alongside Matt Sweeney, who you might know from Vice’s guitar segment, Guitar Moves.
In the video Mac tells some some stories about his first guitar, his affinity for Stratocasters, and some of his processes for recording his “slippery” guitar sounds, while lounging through some jizz jazzy riffs and chord progressions.
