Jack Black reveals his possible retirement plans

Jack Black, an all time favourite movie, music, and comedy star, has begun to think about an early retirement.

After the release of Jumanji, Jack Black expressed his excitement towards retirement and has stated in a BALANCE interview that this movie may be his last. But don’t panic just yet! He’s also stated that he “has a few tricks up his sleeve” and is taking his life day by day.

Now at 50 years of age and after almost 100 movies, Jack Black has reached a point in his life where he’s wanting to spend more time with his family and enjoys the idea of an early retirement.

“We’ll see. I’m not a big five-year plan kind of guy though. I don’t really look down the road. I kind of take it day by day. And if something comes up, you know, obviously if Tarantino comes a-knocking, I’m gonna do that movie!”

“I’ve been saying for a long time that this is the last movie. We’ll see. I can’t really say what my next thing is because it’s too early; it’s a jinxer. I’ve got a couple of tricks up my sleeve. But not too many. I’m looking to wrap it up pretty soon. Ride off into the sunset.”

Jack Black has also confirmed a tour with Tenacious D in the UK, telling BALANCE that they “will be back. 100 per cent.” He has also expressed interest in possibly doing TV shows close to home so that he can still entertain the public whilst also remaining close to his family.

There’s definitely some hope that we will be seeing more of Jack Black soon enough. Let’s pray he keeps us laughing a little longer.
