Lana Del Rey throws shade at Glastonbury Line up announcement: “Thanks for the thumbs up!”

Lana Del Rey is no stranger to major music festivals, having headlined at various events such as Coachella and Lollapalooza.

The Glastonbury Festival lineup announcement revealed Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses as the final headliners, joining the already announced Sir Elton John at the top of the bill, and Lana Del Rey has something to say about it.

However, Lana Del Rey was less than thrilled about how her inclusion was presented.

In a now-deleted Instagram comment on the festival’s post, she expressed her annoyance, saying, “Thanks for announcing that I was headlining the other stage. Thumbs up.”

Later, she took to her private Instagram to share the poster and clarify that she would actually be headlining the second stage. She then suggested that she may not perform at all, writing, “But since there was no consideration for announcing that we’ll see.”

The Glastonbury Festival holds a special place in the hearts of music fans, with the Pyramid Stage being a coveted spot for performers. So it’s no surprise that fans have taken to social media to ask why Lana isn’t gracing the main stage.

In the past, the festival has seen iconic acts such as David Bowie, Radiohead, and Beyoncé grace the Pyramid Stage, cementing their status as musical legends.

Despite the potential setback of Lana Del Rey’s possible pull-out, the festival’s reputation for showcasing the best in music remains strong.
