League of Legends Patch 10.19: all the confirmed new content

League of Legends Patch 10.19 brings in a new champion, a whole bunch of skins, more balance updates, and still no signs of Seraphine.

League of Legends Patch 10.19 is now live on the PBE (public beta environment) servers and it’s about to hit the Rift on the 16th of September. Riot Games is about to smack its fans with another big update for the year as this patch will feature Samira, the PsyOps content, and the new Teamfight Tactics (TFT) mode.

Content on the PBE servers are subject to further changes and adjustments, so what we see and hear won’t be finalised until its official release onto the actual servers. But here’s a look at the things that are pretty much set in stone.

League of Legends Patch 10.19

Samira

As of 2020, the ADC is in a tragic state. Does Samira fix this issue? Well, yes and no. For starters, she’s overwhelmingly strong. Every champion released this year so far has been ridiculously overpowered (maybe not Lilia) and Samira is no exception.

Combining flashy abilities and a high damage damage output, hitting the enemy with alternating attacks increases her Style; granting bonus attack damage and movement speed. Her passive also allows her to dash towards immobilised enemies. Yeah, we know, she’s already strong with just her passive.

Her (Q) is a basic damage dealing ability, her (W) does AOE damage around her and destroys all enemy projectiles, her (E) is a damage dealing dash with CD reset on kill, and her ultimate dishes out a ton of damage if her Style is at its maximum.

But the issue with Samira is that she doesn’t fix the problem of the ADC role being weak. Traditionally known for having high damage output at the cost of vulnerability, Samira is capable of doing high damage with high mobility — this assassin style of play doesn’t make her the marksman an ADC should be. Nevertheless, she will be an absolute monster in the bottom lane.

PsyOps

The new PsyOps event will bring in new skins. These badass looking outfits with tech vibes makes these champions look as if they came from the Cyberpunk universe. In addition to this, the True Damage Yasuo Prestige Edition skin will also be coming out, an incredibly stylish look created in collaboration with AAPE. Costing 100 Prestige Points, this will be the most expensive skin for this patch.

Here’s a spotlight of every PsyOps skin and their chromas:

Teamfight Tactics: Fates

Blasting away from the Galaxy set, TFT is about to plunge into Fates with new visuals and a different set of traits. Improving and adapting from the previous sets, this update has promised to weed out the issues from the previous patch. Featuring champions from the past sets and brand new ones as well, this TFT set features the largest champion/trait pool yet.

And course, there will be another rotation of various Little Legends. Check out the latest TFT Patch Notes here.
