Lenny Kravitz shares some of the stories behind some of his most iconic photographs.
In a lead up to the release of Lenny Kravitz: The Formative Years, by Genesis Publishers, Kravitz has been sharing a series of clips that go into the stories behind the pictures in the upcoming book. Stories specifically from 1989 to 1993.
The Formative Years is set to feature candid commentary from Kravitz, and includes a previously unpublished collection of photographs that document his rise to fame.

The latest clip, which Kravitz posted to social media today, shows Kravitz discussing the record label’s reaction to him and his music, and a fascinating account of his time in Europe, and reveals how he met photographer David Hindley, and goes on to discuss their work together, and the friendship that culminated from it.
