Josh Homme has shared the intense debut film score for an upcoming Neo-Nazi revenge film, featuring Courtney Barnett and Faith No More.

Diane Kruger won best actress for her appearance in the film at Cannes, and the film has also been selected as the German entry into the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 90th Academy Awards.

The “Neo-Nazi revenge” flick follows the story of a woman seeking revenge on a group of Neo-Nazis who murdered her husband and son.

Homme became involved after directer Fatih Akin sent him an early copy of the film. Homme immediately got in contact and expressed his interest to play a part in the development of the film. Ahead of the film’s release, and prior to a physical release due in December, Homme’s soundtrack has been released on all major streaming platforms.

The track list also features tracks from Faith No More, Hindi Zahra and a Courtney Barnett.

In The Fade is set for an American release on December 27, while a wide Australian release is yet to be confirmed.
