Perth based artist Matt Burke has just dropped his much anticipated, cinematic debut single Sorry For Wasting Your Time, from his incredible new Lorne Vincent project.

Lorne Vincent combines spellbinding melodies and dreamy harmonies in his utterly hypnotic debut single, Sorry For Wasting Your Time.
Matt attributes the ethereal quality album to the masterful production of Sydney based producer Antonia Gauci. Gauci has previously worked with iconic artists like the DMA’s, Alison Wonderland, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
“I owe a lot of the vibe on this track to what Antonia has created. To call a spade a spade, my thing is indie- pop music so having someone like Antonia to craft the reflective feeling I was trying to convey in this song was integral to what you hear.”
Lorne Vincent perfectly encompasses the brooding melancholy one can experience when a relationship collapses. Through the tracks spellbinding musical narrative of love and loss, Sorry For Wasting Your Time explores bitterness and heartbreak in it’s most beautifully, relatable form.
“This tune had been swirling around in my mind for a while and essentially is an apology to a girl I was seeing and completely fell for, then for whatever reasons I stopped feeling it, but had already put my cards on the table of how I felt about her. “
“Maybe there were a few strange things happening in my mind at the time, I’m not sure, but even after saying I was sorry it never sat right with me.”
This is the first stunning release Matt Burke has put out under his Lorne Vincent project, it’s safe to say we are very excited for what’s next from him.
