Peggy Gou Teams Up with Lenny Kravitz for ‘I Believe In Love Again’

The collab we didn’t know we needed – Peggy Gou’s and Lenny Kravitz deliver a genre-defying anthem of hope and love

Dark, sexy and moody, get lost in the next dance floor hit care of Peggy Gou, ‘I Believe In Love Again’. Following the success of her previous hit ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’, this time, she’s teamed up with Grammy-winning artist Lenny Kravitz for a unique collaboration.

‘I Believe In Love Again’ is a fusion of R&B elements that showcase Gou’s diverse musical influences. Kravitz’s contribution adds a fresh perspective to the track, showcasing a poppier R&B side we didn’t know he had, and it works.

Gou explains, “The 90s have had such a huge influence on my music. People know about my love of the dance/house/rave scene from that time but I’ve always been a big R&B fan, and also a huge fan of Lenny. I listened endlessly to his 1998 album 5 – my personal favorite – but his whole discography is great, totally timeless. He came into the studio and transformed the guide vocal into magic, writing new lyrics and creating that incredible guitar riff.”

‘I Believe In Love Again’ carries a message of positivity and hope, and Gou and Kravitz hope that listeners resonate with it.

This release is a precursor to Peggy Gou’s debut album, scheduled for release in 2024 on XL Recordings / Remote Control Records. ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ made waves worldwide and was accompanied by pop-up events in London and New York, further solidifying Gou’s position as a notable figure in the music industry.

So, if you haven’t already, it’s time to tune in and witness Peggy Gou’s musical journey unfold. ‘I Believe In Love Again‘ is just a taste of what’s to come.
