PREMIERE: Dekomodo unveils blissful, nature-filled new video for Rainbow Coat

Last month, when we first ventured into the latest album from Dekomodo, we were immediately entranced by his jolting and incredibly unique blend of sounds. The record—titled Burn The Garden—plays out like a surreal, sprawling hallucination. We guarantee that once you dive into it, you’ll be left hanging on each unfolding note.

Now, the Brisbane artist (real name Sebastian Radzikowski) has unveiled a new video for one of the record’s standout tracks, Rainbow Coat, adding further layers to an already multi-faceted track.

Brisbane-based artist Dekomodo has unveiled a new video for his Burn The Garden track Rainbow Coat; an explorative and nature-filled slice of visual bliss.

Exploratory and dream-like, the new video perfectly accompanies the song’s far-reaching sounds. In fact, this new video, with all its earthy and nature-orientated visual themes, seems to ground the song’s endless adventurousness in a really captivating way.

Radzikowski’s songs stretch and retract, navigating always-unexpected musical territories. The video for Rainbow Coat sees the artist exploring what appears to be a nature reserve, complete with various flora and fauna. Eventually, as the song nears its conclusion, Dekomodo finds himself walking along a strange, hyper-coloured train track. This provides a subtle, but perfectly suited finish to this new audio-visual experience.

Again, Rainbow Coat is taken from Dekomodo’s latest album Burn The Garden, and if you haven’t already listened to the full thing, go do that now.
