She Rex jumped on a plane last night, heading all the way to sunny Brisbane to kick off their totally rockin’ tour with Lepers and Crooks with their unique brand of Riot Grrl meets Industry Rock meets Hip Hop, following in a long line of Aussie bands who have dabbled in both the hip hops and heavy guitar riffs. Well, okay, I can only really think of Regurgitator, but yeah, whatever.

The trio hit up Alhambra last night, kicking off a 10 date tour which will be trickling it’s way down south (and then up north again for some reason) with four shows gracing the garden state. Lepers and Crooks will be opening all shows, with a brand of less unique, but no less rockin’ guitar pop. Check out the awesome vid for their first single last year ‘Her Kiss’ below, which really gets going about halfway through. Remind anyone of Half Full Glass Of Wine vid? Anyone?
