Directors Michael Coleman and Emmanuel Moran interview over forty practitioners to explore “the intent of an instrument maker and composer” and the role played by “producers and engineers who capture and preserve an artist’s voice.”
Amazingly curated and fabulously shot, it’s an absolute treasure from start to finish. Those chosen to be a part of this project are not only at the top of the game, but musical purists in every sense.
Those forty musicians include appearances from Hans Zimmer, Tycho, Reggie Watts, Kamasi Washington, Hiatus Kaiyote and way more. Keep an eye out for them all.
