Throw society to the wind and inhabit a darkened dystopia this October with The Soft Moon

Dark, futuristic post-punk preachers The Soft Moon will be bringing their apocalyptic sound to Australia this October in a three-show frenzy, hitting Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

Since the group’s inception in 2010 the group has been broadcasting their dissonant, driving tunes and retro-futurist video clips, earning them thousands of fans.

soft moon

The Soft Moon paints a picture of a post-world dystopia with their tunes, a viciously addictive, dysmorphic brand of rock.

Under the handle The Soft Moon, Luis Vasquez has a string of records to his name by now, yet each release contributes natively to the closely guarded, well-curated image he projects. The album artwork, video releases, website design and of course sonics of The Soft Moon represent a complete devotion to the anxious, darkened world they present.

Ticket holders to one of the upcoming shows can then expect an almost overwhelming, multi-sensory experience brimming with destructive energy. Lo-fi guitars and thrumming bass lines are sure to create a catastrophic atmosphere, which is only ever a good time.
