It was last week that South Coast three-piece The Spindrift Saga dropped their latest single In And Out Of Love. And for that entire time, we haven’t stopped spinning it. The track is an infectious, crunching alt-rock track that we guarantee will be stuck in your head for weeks.
If you’re not already familiar with this NSW band, it’d definitely time you got familiar. We’re predicting plenty more quality tunes in the near future.
On their latest single In And Out Of Love, South Coast three-piece The Spindrift Saga deliver a punchy slice of alt-rock glory.
Over the course of In And Out Of Love‘s punchy three-minute duration, The Spindrift Saga stomp through a concoction of sounds that feel simultaneously fresh and nostalgic. They mix grunge with indie-rock to create a sound that acknowledges the great bands of the past, while remaining completely original.
With crunching guitars, pulsating drum beats and gritty vocal hooks, the track is both hard-hitting and emotionally resonant. According to the band, the track “explores the basic human instincts of questioning one’s certainty about new relationships.”
“Whether what you have is about just being physically attracted to someone or being attracted for a deeper emotional connection, the ever burning questions of lust or love and the grey areas in between.”
In And Out Of Love is the latest in a string of great releases from the band, and judging by everything we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes from The Spindrift Saga.
For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new track above.
