Last weekend was the big one for Sydney 2020 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, hosting the official Parade and scores of parties, live music, shows, and more.
Nestled nice and close to the hive of activity was Kings Cross Hotel – known as Queens Cross Hotel for the entirety of Mardi Gras season. We popped in the night before Parade day to see what was up.

The night saw the venue’s rooftop and club stage open for business – the former for some sundown drinks and the latter for a late night session featuring Hot English Mustard, Camo Crooks, and others.
Queens Cross Hotel was decked out appropriately; rainbows in all shapes and sizes spinning around each level while drag performers kept the patrons buzzing.
