Kesha and Dua Lipa to perform at 2020 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras

2020 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras is fast approaching and the official party lineup at the Hordern Pavilion is getting bigger. The event promises a “brand-new adult play land, bursting with music, light and performance across new fantasy worlds for you to immerse yourself.

And, as the saying goes, the party won’t start till Kesha walks in. And she will.

Kesha will be performing alongside Dua Lipa and a bill of local talent at next year’s official Mardi Gras Party.

Performing at the party in February, Kesha is set to release her new album High Road on January 10, which means there’re sure to be a crop of new bangers to add to her already banger-heavy set. She has sold more than 134 million records worldwide and has the fifth best-selling single in digital history, TiK ToK.

Kesha is one of the music industry’s leading LGBTQI activists. She received the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award in 2016 for her advocacy for equality.

In November it was confirmed that Dua Lipa will be headlining the night. Interestingly enough, Dua Lipa was just here, performing at this year’s ARIA Awards. She must have a fondness for us, we certainly do for her.

And if that isn’t enough, the Mardi Gras event page is teasing more announcements at later dates. The show starts after the iconic parade and doesn’t wrap until 8am the next morning.
