On The Eve Of The Rush was inspired by the key themes from the 1993 novel, The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck. The track is dripping with electro-house vibes, with uplifting ambience and vibrant synths that will whisk you away into a world of wonder.

Parissa Tosif stated: “I was inspired by the idea of searching for more – out of survival but also because of an innate human desire to grow and flourish. It’s one of my favourite novels and reminds me of a lot of themes of the migrant journey and the search for a better life.”

The track is accompanied by a vivid music video, which was created by Passing Kneeling/Tom Vanderzeil. Parissa elaborates on the contents contained in the music video, explaining “this song is a blur of many things around materialism and success – and about how to keep pivoting back to what’s important in life through questioning oneself and our motives.”

Celebrating the release of their new track, the duo have announced two local shows that will take place in March 2023 – you can grab tickets to the shows here.
