Yep, it’s been 40 whole years since Alien first arrived on the big screen. To celebrate, Tongal and 20th Century Fox have teamed up to showcase 6 new short films, selected from 550 submissions from emerging filmmakers.
1979 saw the first incarnation of Alien. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, 6 new short films have been released that pay tribute to the groundbreaking movie.
The 6 new shorts pay homage to Ridley Scott’s classic, but create new stories for an ever-hungry fan base of the sci-fi classic.
As you would expect, the stories centres around strong female leads, the epic as well as the claustrophobic, with mortal danger an ever present sensation.
