Watch EGOISM perform Enemies live at Enmore Audio

Not long ago at Enmore Audio, much-loved Sydney duo EGOISM dropped by to perform their dreamy pop tune Enemies.

This’ll stick in your head for days. We’re not sorry.

Sydney duo EGOISM are the latest to perform at Enmore Audio, bringing their lush hit Enemies into the studio walls.

Enemies is filled with driving guitars and catchy hooks, in complete contrast to the “existential dread” of the lyrics. Egoism’s sweet vocals almost disguise the heavy verses and the point they’re trying to get across – that sometimes “you’re your own worst enemy”.

When the band sat down to explain the track, they shared:

“Enemies is just kind of a lot of existential dread and just being really freaked out and then kind of stuffing up your relationships with real life people because you’re feeling that way and then just trying to make things better”

Do yourself a favour and check out the new video below:

Egoism recently played the Marlborough Hotel as part of Happy Mag’s Issue 11 Launch – something of a blowout. If you’re keen to catch them live, they’re performing alongside Sweater Curse in Sydney this Friday.
