Xbox Series X shows off 13 new games in gameplay reveal

At last, the gameplay reveal displaying the power of the Xbox Series X has just been aired by Microsoft. The launch wasn’t light on games either, with 13 titles seeing the light of day for the first time.

The video was hosted by Xbox Head of Global Portfolio, Damon Baker and Head of Partnerships, Sarah Bond. Baker led off by saying, “Developers are using the hardware to achieve their dreams—and their nightmares—using the power to optimise games the way they want.”Yakuza Gameplay

Witness the gameplay reveal for the Xbox Series X. 13 new titles that utilise the power of the next-gen console have been displayed to the world.

Another important piece of news to come from the video was the announcement of Smart Delivery. Some of the new games support the system, which enables a game to be purchased only once, but be optimised for Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox Series X consoles.

The list of games included:

  • Bright Memory Infinite
  • Dirt 5
  • Scorn
  • Chorus: Rise As One
  • Madden NFL 21
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
  • Call of the Sea
  • The Ascent
  • The Medium
  • Scarlet Nexus
  • Second Extinction: Reclaim Earth
  • Yakuza: Like a Dragon
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Of course, 13 games in under 28 minutes is nothing more than a tantalising tease, so no doubt, there’ll be more to come before console’s release later this year. Check out the full video below:
