If you’re already pumped for Laneway, then this sweet sweet news will have you pretty much racing out the door. The promoters have released details as to set times, venue maps, afterparties and passouts for the upcoming festivals running in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle.
Official afterparties will be kicking off in both Melbourne and Sydney featuring some insane DJ sets at the city’s best locations. Melbourne will be held at Max Watts, and will feature Bonobo, Harvey Sutherland and Hiatus Kaiyote.
Meanwhile Sydney will kick their celebrations off at Oxford Art Factory with the likes of BADBADNOTGOOD, Kllo, FlexMami and Alex Cameron.
Also in an exciting turn of events, organisers have decided to offer passouts at the Fremantle leg of the Laneway tour.
‘Laneway Lifeguards’ will be posted around the Fremantle vicinity, and local businesses will be jumping on board with special deals and promotions for ticket holders.
As Fremantle Mayor Brad Pettitt has remarked, “The passout system at Laneway Festival this year will be a welcome boost for local business owners who will be able to share the benefits of having so many visitors in Fremantle. It’s a great addition to the festival… It will give festival-goers the chance to explore what Fremantle has to offer.”
