He blessed us with The Life of Pablo and now he’s getting ready to give us the life of Kanye West.
Yes, you read that right, Kanye West wants to make a movie about his life and according to actor Danny McBride, he was approached by Kanye to play the rapper himself.
“He had an idea for a project, which I think is a pretty brilliant idea. He wanted to do a movie about the story of his life, and he wanted me to play him,” McBride explained about his day with Kanye West.
Kanye West flew down to Charleston, South Carolina to visit McBride and the two of them spent the afternoon talking on a boat about the potential role for McBride.
McBride noted he was initially nervous to meet the influential power that is Kanye West, and Kimmel asked him in the interview how Kanye even had Mcbride’s phone number.
“Kanye has his ways I guess.”
The two men shared what McBride calls “the most incredible afternoon” together which ended with the men watching McBrides seven-year-old son play Fortnite.
Kanye West’s career has been versatile from the very beginning. Rapper, producer, fashion designer and husband to the equally as famous Kim Kardashian, the musician constantly turns heads whether by his musical or fashion talent, his questionable relationship with Donald Trump or his controversial ideas.
It turns out Kanye is a big fan of the ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ actor though so here’s hoping the biopic gets the official green light, especially considering it is rumoured to be directed by David Gordan Green.
