PREMIERE: ALLIPHA’s new single is a powerhouse of tantalising pop-funk

There is a skyrocketing buzz surrounding eclectic retro-pop singer songwriter ALLIPHA and it’s for good reason.

Taking the Melbourne music scene by storm, ALLIPHA is the perfect ode to 60’s and 70’s pop-funk and disco music. Now she’s back with another tantalising new single and Australian tour to match.

ALLIPHA

ALLIPHA delivers fierce vocals, soulful pop and aching nostalgia in her latest premiere I Don’t Miss You. It’s murder on the dance floor in pure funky form.

ALLIPHA has set a strong tone for what has been an exciting year of music for the Melbourne artist. I Don’t Miss You is a clear sign of her creative artistry and her ability to transcend time through fusions of new and old, giving her audiences searing nostalgia and a glimpse into her motivations of future music.

Her fierce, sultry vocals are equally paired with an indie-pop style to produce a tone and sound that is unique to ALLIPHA. This is the third release from ALLIPHA, following her first two soulful singles Minds On Fire and Freak Inside, where lyrics and songwriting are inspired by lived experiences and relationships.

As a live performer, ALLIPHA has been featured alongside some of the country’s best upcoming artists including Samsaruh, Brayden Sibbald and Rya Park. Following her sold-out single launch at The Gasometer Hotel in Melbourne, ALLIPHA is a force to be reckoned with and will be embarking on an Australian tour this October on top of her single release.

One things for sure this track is sure to absolutely kill any dance floor and have even the most reserved boogie master grooving down the sidewalk. ALLIPHA has a knack for groove and songwriting that is incredibly infectious and if I can give you one piece of advice it is go check out her closest show below and make sure you are there for one hell of a funky night.
