UPDATE: The leaked tour poster has been confirmed as fake. If Rage Against The Machine have more tour dates to announce, these weren’t them.
It was only last month that Rage Against The Machine revealed they were going to reform to play a series of shows for the first time since 2011, including a headline slot at Coachella 2020.
Now it seems a string of US dates might not be the only thing the beloved band have in store for 2020.

Last night, around 11:40 pm a tour poster was shared to the band’s social media. Included in the string of dates were shows in North and South America, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and good old Oz.
However, that wasn’t the only interesting thing about the poster. The Australian tour dates happened to take place around the rather suspicious month of July – a time often marked by a high correlation between international bands touring Australia and performing at Splendour In The Grass.
The revealed tour dates included a show in Byron Bay on July 18th, right around the time that Splendour usually takes place, as well as in Melbourne on July 23rd. The poster was deleted immediately afterward. Could it be?
Next year marks the 20th year of the festival, and a headliner of such ilk would only seem fitting.
Other reveals include a potential slot at Glastonbury, which, if true, would be taking place on the same night as Paul McCartney.
Whilst the legitimacy of the poster cannot be determined, it’s now being circulating by users on Twitter. We’ll let you know more as it comes.
