The newest Spider-Man movie has received mostly positive reactions and is scoring a whopping 97% rating with 78 reviews.
Spider-Man: No Way Home featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man, premiered in the US last night and was very well received.
The newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is pleasing critics with its charming characters and by apparently tying up loose ends of the MCU multiverse.
The threequel, which sees the return of past villains from the franchise (hell yeah), was hugely anticipated and many viewers are saying it exceeded expectations.
Experts are estimating that the film will top the $100 million mark over its three-day debut, but co-producer Sony project something a little closer to $130 million.

Every different version of Spider-Man movie is sure to create controversy among the truest of fans but the most recent movies have been highly acclaimed and have brought in a whole new generation of Spidey fans. Now, with the ultimate cross-over, featuring the beloved villains from our dear Sam Raimi flicks, this Marvel movie is almost guaranteed to have every Spider-Man lover in the cinema.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the eighth live-action Spider-Man movie and the third starring Tom Holland that is set within the MCU.
Some fans of the comic and overall franchise were split previously over who has done it better. Some purists wouldn’t allow anything else to live up to the original movies with Toby Maguire as Peter Parker, no matter how cool and unique the animated Into the Spider-Verse was.
Well, this movie seems to be the one that might finally appease most web-heads because as we mentioned, it features Peter’s long lost foes AND is said to be full of easter eggs that make it the perfect third act to end the trilogy.
Without giving anything away, the reviews are in and Spider-Man: No Way Home is ridiculous and ridiculously fun.
That’s not to say it goes without any gut-wrenching emotion. Oh no, it wouldn’t be a Marvel movie, let alone a Spidey flick without a couple of tear-jerking moments.

Down here in Aus, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out for ourselves whether or not the Tomatometer is right.
