Over the past few years Alex Lahey has dazzled us with her charming and utterly unique sound. Her latest album created such a fuss that she sold out a run of headline shows across the country earlier this year.
Now, the Melbourne artist has announced that she will be taking The Best Of Luck Club tour to her favourite spots across regional Australia and we couldn’t be more excited.
Starting in late October, Alex Lahey will perform headline dates in Belgrave, Bendigo, Albury, Ulladulla, Wollongong, Narrabeen, Newcastle, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Cairns and Townsville.
The tour will boast Lahey’s May-released The Best Of Luck Club album which has been well received by both fans and critics. The album and her live show are set to display the artist’s ability to impressively play multiple instruments and craft incredible songs.
On top of her new hits, fans anticipate hearing their favourites from Alex Lahey’s first album I Love You Like A Brother. Punters might even be treated with a sax solo by the artist when fan favourite Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself is performed.
In an interview with Happy, Lahey said “I think that there’s definitely unspoken things that happen at my shows that are reflections of the messages in the songs.” It’s fair to say that you can expect a pretty special experience at one of her gigs later in the year!
Tickets for all stops of the regional tour go on sale from 9am this Wednesday (21 August).
