These headsets are based on the iconic ATH-M50x headphones that sit in that perfect crossover — on the street for general consumer use and in recording studios worldwide.
The microphones on both headsets are set on a flexible boom arm — perfect for aiming at your mouth and rejecting background noise — that features a cool function where when you flip it to the up position it mutes. The STS has its own independent XLR connection and the STS-USB uses a high-quality A/D converter with up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
Both headsets come with two types of interchangeable earpads — the standard M50x high fidelity and isolation earpads and mesh/leatherette earpads for breathability and comfort.
