Black cat scores touchdown at NFL game

Some people believe that seeing a black cat is bad luck, while others believe it’s a good sign.

Black cats must be a good sign for the Dallas Cowboys, after one interrupted an NFL game in New Jersey between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys.

The sharp and determined black cat showed up to MetLife Stadium and loafed onto the field at the end of the second quarter, before it started for a touchdown.

“This oughta be fun,” the commentators laughed, as the kitty enjoyed its leisurely stroll while the entire audience excitedly cheered. This could just be the best cat we have ever seen.

Announcer, Kevin Harlan didn’t miss a beat: “Policemen and state troopers have come onto the field, and the cat runs into the end zone! That is a touchdown!” Harlan told the audience. “And the cat is elusive, kind of like [Saquon] Barkley and [Ezekiel] Elliott!”

After the cat walked across the touchdown line, play was halted for about two minutes. Officials struggled to get the spooky cat off the field while the crowd’s laughter screeched.

How the cat got into the stadium and then onto the field is a mystery, but the poor cat was probably freaked out by all the noise and attention. Or maybe it was all part of the kitty’s plan to bless the Dallas Cowboys with good luck, or maybe curse the New York Giants with bad luck. I guess we will see how each team goes for the rest of the season.
